I was reading a thread created by jesper8W75R in which he was lamenting the limitation with the CAM Processor output file naming. None of the solutions therein are what I want to do.
I would like to name all of the output files with the PCB Number. In the Layout Editor I have created a Document Attribute PCB_NUMBER. I would like to be able to use PCB_NUMBER as a variable in the output file string. For example, in the Export Gerber Job file field:
%PREFIX/PCB_NUMBER_gerber_job.gbrjob
Is it possible to include Document Attributes in the output file strings?
My work-around right now is to use a bulk filename utility which will append or add text strings to filenames, but this is outside Fusion 360 and is an extra step. It would be great if I can automate this within the CAM Processor.
