All the colors changed

I'm using the Electronics editor.  Yesterday I received the latest update to version 2.0.10244.  Today when I opened my file all the colors in the schematic editor have changed.  Previously components where red, nets where green, I had a high contrast option setup so it was easy to see selections.  Today everything is pastel colors, light purples, oranges, and almost no visible change when selecting objects.  How can I restore the original colors?

UPDATE:  The Highlight options in the Preferences section General->Electronics->Colors does not seem to work any more.  I select various high contrast, light, or dark options and I see no visible change in the behavior of the editor.

Hi @robmacklin

I hope you are doing well!

I can reproduce the high contrast issue and I will reported it to our develop team.

I will keep you updated when we fix it. Sorry again for all inconveniences.

Hi @robmacklin

Would you mind confirming if you always check the high contrast checkbox before?

If you don't mind, please attach a screenshot of your schematic so that we can check the layer color for you.

Thanks a lot!

I enabled the High Contrast setting a few weeks ago and have been using it since.  It was enabled when the update was applied yesterday.

Here's a screen shot of my schematic.  It is now orange and teal instead of red and green.

Another Fusion user in my company also sees the new colors in the electronic editor, so this does not appear to be a local problem with my installation.

Hi @robmacklin ,

I hope you're doing well. These are now the default colors in Electronics if you click on the Script function you can run the older color scheme. Let me know this gives you any problems.

I'm sorry @jorge_garcia, I don't know what you mean by " click on the Script function".

I often use the Show tool to help me locate parts and nets from the schematic, on the PCB layout.  And visa-versa.

Since the update, I cannot find a setting that significantly highlights anything on the schematic.  The PCB highlights are not much better.   I can see why it was changed, because in the old system it was hard to find a setting that made everything work reasonably well.  But this new system is even more frustrating.

I have spent a lot of time trying to find a set of color and highlight settings that is optimal (that's being nice, a better word would be workable).  I keep telling myself that there is a good set, and when you find it, it will have been worth the time searching.

I'm still searching.  If you're happy(@members) please put a screen shot up of your preferences.

Hi @bboyceCXAW4

I hope you are doing well!

The highlight issue has been reported to the develop team and will be fixed as soon as possible.

I will keep you updated when we release the fix for this issue.

Besides, would you mind trying change the layer color to see if the highlight will be better? Hope it can help.

@panpan_fan ,

Thank you.  That does the trick!  I changed Top to a deep red, and the Nets to a rich purple.  Then Highlight goes Pepto-Bismal pink for Top and sky blue to rich purple for the Bottom.  Nets are now going from purple to bright green.   All this works on my usual white background.

I didn't take time to tune up the black background.

Thank you for the work around, I'm much happier and more productive.

Good health,

bboyceCXAW4
