Hello All,
My 3D PCBs are not showing any component values. My 2D PCBs do however show component values. Is there something I can do to fix this. I have been searching online and haven't found any solution. Also to note, the CAM preview does not show any component values.

Hello @gkarlick ,
The values are not showing on 3D PCB on purpose to make the board clean. We will consider to add an option to show the values in future release.

Okay, how about the CAM view. I suppose that is also on purpose.

Hi @gkarlick ,
Thank you for asking.
CAM Preview we don't show the component values by default, but in the CAM Processor > Output Files > Gerber > Silkscreen Top / Silkscreen Bottom > Layers > you could add the values layer there and then the Component Values will be shown up.
Hope it helps.
Please feel free to let us know if you need our further assistant.

This reply makes no sense.
Certainly, the point of being able to turn layers on and off is to make things "clean". So allow us to turn on and off component values !!!
Please, this is a most basic thing that Altium did decades ago -- SHOWING COMPONENT VALUES -- so that prototype PCBs can be assembled on the bench using a printed sheet of paper with the component values on them.

Hi @robZDWS7,
I think there is some form of misunderstanding here. You can show component values on the 2D PCB and print it for easy assembly. I do this all the time.
This thread revolves around showing the values in the 3D PCB which it currently does not show. It's an open feature request.
I'll add your comments to it.

Since this is over a year later, perhaps this has been fixed. (It doesn't appear to be fixed by default.) This "feature"--showing component values on the 3D pcb is most basic and very necessary. One of the principal features to review on the 3D PCB is making sure the silk screen text is displayed how desired. For now I've had to change the layers of all the component values, putting them on the tNames layer so they'll show up in 3D. Please fix this!

We have provided an option to customize the silkscreen layer:
