Right side data panel always starts too large

I've posted about this a while back, but didn't get a response that helped to resolve. The right side data panes always start with the width being about 1/3 of the full screen. The left side always starts at what I would call the "correct" size. Every time I start Fusion Electronics, I have to resize the right side panes in both the schematic, and 2D PCB windows. Picking the edge of the window to resize it is also challenging since the cursor wants to jump away from the edge.

Is there a way to get Fusion Electronics to "remember" the pane sizes?

This issue is present on all three computers that I use Fusion 360 on. I have to believe that this issue is somehow limited to my install since if this was happening for everyone, it would have been fixed by now.

Suggestions are appreciated.

Just want to second you on this. Usability in terms of UI management is totally inconsistent and not helpful. Not even basic window/UI management aspects are there. Or, worse, they are available in some workflows and not in others. Please please please, Autodesk, make an effort giving the Electronics part a usability overhaul. That should be more than just fixing one small thing - the whole UI experience is inconsistent and decidedly user unfriendly.

I hope you're doing well. Are you using the latest version of Fusion 360? We had fixes implemented in this last release of Fusion for this. If you are then it looks like we still have some digging to do.

This issue has been present since sometime earlier this year...around April/May timeframe. My installation is up to date as far as I know. Last update was pretty recent...maybe this week?

This is the post I made back in May this year. The same issue persists. As reported, the issue started about the time of a UI fix for the black data panel issue, and around the same time as the move to the new login process. Not saying either of these observations have anything to do with the problem, but this problem has been present since May’22, and was never present before that. For reference, I started using Fusion in 2018, and will continue since it’s very reasonably priced solution for my CNC and PCB needs. Would be nice to get this fixed though. 

If the forum isn’t the right place to make a fix request, and I should post this issue somewhere that it will get attention, please point me in the right direction.

Hello @butch_berney,

I hope you're doing well. That is the latest version. Let's try this, go to the view menu and select Reset layout. Close Fusion and then restart it.  Now try adjusting the panel, let me know if it now sticks.

Resetting the view seems to have resolved the issue on my workstations. I had to reset on each computer, so whatever it was seems to be something stored locally vs in the cloud. I’m pretty sure we tried this fix when it was suggested earlier this year, but didn’t work then. Still, I’m happy it’s resolved.
