insert electronic design layers issue

i have made a 4 layer pcb "module". i want to repeat this module multiple times in my final pcb. however when using the insert electronics design function the 3rd and 4th(bottom) layer is not being inserted...

i have saved my rules and layer stackup as files and imported them before inserting the design. I noticed that on my module file the layers are numbered 15 and 16 (16 is the bottom layer). In my new final pcb file the layers are 63 and 64. Maybe this is the issue, but i can't find any way to adjust this number.

Am i missing something? I thought this was the correct approach for now to use repeated modules? i tried the actual module function, but this only works within the schematic stage. i couldnt find a way to make repeated design module blocks within the 2d pcb stage.

Hi @BristolBrailleTechnology ,

I hope you're doing well. You are following the correct procedure, we had some issues with the new 64 layer implementation and this might be the caused by that. I'll reach out to the developers to confirm if this has already been addressed for the next release.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

thanks,  when will this new update be?

For anyone else reading this: a solution for now is to make a copy of the "module" pcb design using the save as function. this duplicates schematic and 2d pcb. you can then copy and paste your schematic (painstakingly revise each net) without layer issues.
