How to manage libraries in Fusion vs Eagle?

I used to store all my libraries locally and divided into component types by folders. as shown bellow:

  1. Circuit_Protection:
  1. Circuit Breaker
  2. Fuse Holder
  3. Fuses
  4. PTC Resettable Fuses
  5. TVS Diodes
  6. Varistors

  1. Connectors:
    1. Board to Board Connectors
    2. Card Edge Connectors
    3. Circular Connectors
    4. D-Sub Connectors
    5. FFC_FPC
    6. Headers
    7. Pin Header
    8. Power Connectors
    9. Terminals
    10. USB Connector
    11. Wire Mount

  1. Discrete_Semiconductors:
    1. Diodes
    2. Thyristors
    3. Transistors

ect...

So each component types has it's own library stored in the proper folder of component familly

What would be the best way to follow this convention when transitioning to Fusion? I feel like organizing libraries in fusion will be a nightmare.

Hey @andre.allain ,

I hope you're doing well. Easiest thing to do is to create a libraries Project in Fusion and then recreate that folder structure just as you had it before. That's all you really have to do.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best Regards,

it is a solution, but it is so much worse than storing locally and using windows explorer.
