How to import a PNG Logo in 2026 on Fusion ?

Hello everyone,

It's been a long time since I opened Fusion, I have a little work to do and I have to import a logo to put on my schematics and also on the PCB.

I hope that we can now import in a simple way without going through a BMP that dates from the 1950s!! 😡

If this function exists I can't find it, I imagine that Fusion has evolved so much that it must be simpler and more practical, well I hope...

For information, my logo is in PNG.

Hey @RitchieFromParis ,

Always nice to hear from you!! So the recommended approach now is to use the Import SVG function. If you convert the PNG to SVG that will come in no problems. Additionally, there's an import-bmp-simple.ulp that ships with Fusion that is much simpler to use than the old one. Those are the two main options today as of this post.

Thank you Jorge for this always very fast answer, indeed I saw this possibility, but the problem is that when I try to convert my PNG or JPEG image with AI the import into Fusion does not work, I have an error message.

Probably an export parameter problem in AI, but my knowledge is limited in graphics, if you have a car or a track I am a taker.

Importing in SVG or DXF is a very good alternative to the BMP format which is very tedious and not always effective.
