Error - Library Manager

When I try to edit a linked component library, I am getting the following error.

Also, happens on the Library.io library.

Error: Failed to download file.
An error occurred: Requested resource not found

This error occurs on only one library.

I can place components from the this library.

I can see the managed library on Library.io

I have restarted Fusion and my computer with no help.

I found the latest copy of the library on my computer in the following location.

C:\Temp\Fusion360-CGMpYJ\urn_adsk.wipprod_fs.file_vf.jTus8yn0TkqH8RB_eOGQfw

I have attached the file that was in this folder.

I did update fusion to 2.0.19426 this morning. Not sure if this might have something to do with it.

Any suggestions on what is going on or a solution?

Hi @chuck_toddN7PTC ,

Where are you trying to edit it from?  The library looks to be cached successfully but perhaps it was deleted from Fusion's cloud?  Do you see this library in your data panel?

Also, if you are trying to edit the library.io library and getting this, can you share with us the URN of the library.io library?

Thanks,
Chris

To edit libraries, I go to the the Library Manager, select the library, click edit.

Either of the libraries Version 186 and Version 10 of the -IFI_Diodes library give the same error trying to edit.

The Library is not in the library folder in the data panel.

How could this library have been deleted from the data panel?

Where do I find the URN?

I thought you could only get the URN with the library open under info. Since I can't open the library, I can't get the URN.

All can find in library.io is the PermaLink https://library.io/libraries/13039805--IFI_Diodes. I don't think that's what you are asking for.

If the library is not anywhere in your data panel (it could be stored anywhere - not just the library folder), then it must have been deleted from Fusion.  You can also use the Fusion Team website to browse the content and verify that it is or is not there.  My understanding is that the only way this can be done is manually, so there might be something else going on here, it requires more investigation.  I think you might be right that there is no way to find the URN in the UI in the current state, but I could get it if you send me your DB file.  Can you send me this:
Windows: C:\Users\{YourUername}\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\Electron\{YourUId}\lbr\libraries.db
Mac:/Users/{YourUername}/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/Autodesk Fusion 360/Electron/{YourUId}/lbr/libraries.db
You can email it to Chris.Taylor@Autodesk.com

But fortunately, since you still have the local library file, even if it was deleted you can use File -> Upload to upload it into Fusion Team again.    If you upload a second library it should retain the library.io link and all the package references, you just might have to use the "Swap Library" action to update your designs to point to the new library (and delete the old one from the manager).  So even if that is the case, it won't be a big problem (just save that file).  Let's make sure first though.

Hey @chuck_toddN7PTC ,

After seeing some other posts, it appears that Fusion is now throwing errors when attempting to open libraries that reside in other Teams.  Do you work in multiple teams?  could this be what is happening?

I sent you an email with the information you requested above. Have you had a chance to look at it?

I am the only one on my team that is currently using Fusion. The only team I should be using is the IFI_Fusion_Team.

I haven't had any issues until yesterday.

We will be making a public post with more information on this soon, the change caught us by surprise.  I believe Fusion has now disallowed opening libraries across teams.  I suspect that this library actually resides in a different team and its state in the database is incorrect.  The best way to fix the issue is to delete the database file mentioned above, then it will rebuild itself and should be correct.  I then expect this library not to show at all in the manager; because it resides in a different team, that is what you should be seeing (only the libraries in this Team).  Then you can edit the library.io version of the library, and it will make a new Fusion copy into this team.

I created links to all of the Library.io libraries when I first started using Fusion under the same team. I don't understand how only one library could have moved to a different team.

Can you give more detailed explanation of how to get the library back?

Which database file are you referring to deleting? When and how will it rebuild itself?

That is curious, and this situation might not apply for you then.  But here is the post with more information on that:
https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-electronics/attention-how-to-resolve-missing-3d-models-or-erro...

My suggestion for what to try next would still be to close Fusion, delete that database file, then restart Fusion (the database is the file that you sent me).  Let me know if that changes anything.  The database is only a cache, it will rebuild when you start Fusion, there is no risk of losing anything.

Deleted the .db file. Started Fusion, the .db file did rebuild.

I opened Library Manager, the link was broken from the missing Fusion teams library (-IFI_Diodes).

I did a remove from view and created a new linked teams library from the library.io library.

Apparently, there was more than one fusion teams library (-IFI_Fets) that had this problem.

Deleting the .db file broke the link to that fusion teams library as well.

That's how I knew there was a problem. Did them same as above to get it back in fusion teams library.

How long should it take to sync Library.io? It's been doing this for  30 min.

I think I am back in business.

Thanks for your assistance.
