Renewal of education license

Hi,

I have logged into the education site and get this

Your educational access to Autodesk products is valid through September 21, 2022.

However, Fusion shows expiring in 15 days.

When I click on the "get product" link it wants to download fusion, I cancel it since I already have fusion installed from the app store.

I am a bit perplexed at the moment...Just trying to be pre active and get this sorted out rather than wait until the last day.

Hi @eric_strebel

Thanks for reaching out!

We have recently been having an issue where users are assigned an extra year of licenses without re-verifying. Potentially this could be this same issue, although I have not seen it.

If the education license says that you are valid until September, them hopefully

this will be the case.
If you are still verified, clicking “get product” to download Fusion should trigger a new subscription to be added to your account although sometimes you have to wait for your old license to expire for this to work with this bug.

If you clicked “get product” it is possible that the message in Fusion will disappear (there is sometimes a small delay) so let me know if it does!

For now, I will reach out to our support team to check if this issue is the same bug I am thinking of, and if it isn’t we can run through some other steps that might help!

Sit tight and I will get back to you!

@o.briggs , oh, it seems to have resolved itself over night, when I launched fusion this morning the "expires in 15 days" has gone away. I think I am good for the time being. Thanks for your help.

I’m glad it is all sorted! I suspect that by clicking “get product” before you triggered a new subscription that made the message go away! You should receive an email 30 days before you need to renew your verification so look out for that in August!
