Wood design validation CAAE

Hi all,

I am designing a wooden pallet and would like to validate my design. it is not necessary to know the bending detail but I would like to know if this weight can be carried and / or the pallet will not crack. Analysis with standard wood as a physical material is not possible because it cannot deform elastically (linear and non linear). would there be a work around to validate this in a way?

Yes, you can perform the FEA analysis even for woods, there is a little trick you can follow.

1. know the material properties of the wood you are working on.

2.while performing FEA just add any metal and edit the material properties with the wood.

3. Run the simulation and validate your design.
