Wonder why not an AUTOMATIZED RULE #1 ?

Hello all,

While I read and watch so much advice about the essential RULE #1, I wonder why the component creation is not simply always automatic ?

In front of this so important rule which many newcomers forget, the way could (should?) be : for each creation of body, a new component is created and activated.

Then if we really not want this, we can after creation slide the bodies under an already existing component...

What do you thing about ?

Best Regards,

Guy

No thanks, - because it is stated there are exceptions to the rule.

My models need many bodies to get to the finished one.

Not sure you've understood, you should be creating new components with the first feature that component needs and that will more often than not be a sketch, not a body. And as @davebYYPCU points out there are several valid exceptions to the rule.

Don't think there's any way to automate Rule#1, only with training and experience can you decide how and where to use.
