Why is it the functions in this program are so unreliable?  1 out of 10 clicks work on a lot of the basic functions.  I have watched advance users here have the same problem when showing me something.  It is like there are no program testers or QA.  If I select a command, I want it to work, the first time.  Not once in 10 tries.  Maybe they need to hire some testers who will debug a lot of this stuff and log the bugs.

Can you record an Autodesk Screencast of what is not working for you?

I don't know how to record with Autodesk Screencast yet.  I am willing to do this if I can find the time.  I mean, one of these problems was the Point to Point Move command.  The problems are all like that one in that they just don't work have the time.  Point to Point works once in 20 attempts if you are lucky.

Again, this is poor management in the development area.  These issues should be logged down.  Then there needs to be a manager who will get the developers to fix the issues.

PS: Now go back to my screen captures on the other post and tell me what the problems are that you see.

The link provided by @TheCADWhisperer shows how to install and use Screencast.  It's not terribly difficult.  It shouldn't take more than 40 seconds to install it and learn how to use it Smiley Indifferent

As far as logging a bug, you will have to show how and where the bug is occurring.  A screencast will accomplish this.  I, personally, don't have any problem selecting the points in a Point to Point move operation.

@CLmoss

Point to point move works every time for me so I would be interested in seeing a screen recording of the problems you are having.

Honestly there are a few bugs making you have to click twice with some actions, and most of those the dev team is aware of and working on fixing, but nothing that's 1 out of 10 tries...at least not that I have run into.

This is just one of the places I see the 1 out of 10 issue.  Who knows, it might be a driver thing.

I am using Windows 7 Pro SP1. The prcocessor is the i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30 GHz. I have 16 GB of RAM.  It is a 64bit OS.

For the Point to Point, I first noticed it when I was watching a demonstration of something else that required Point to Point Move. It was in his screencast.  That was private as it had a non public design in it, but it happens to me constantly.  He didn't even notice it, but I saw it.  Then when I pointed it out, he saw it.  I will download Screencast and upload a demo for you that uses simple forms.   This was last month. The  problem was that you couldn't click on the second point.  He said it was documented here somewhere.
