Why do I get these error messages?

Hello everybody,

I am trying to design the milling process of a dog-bone-shaped specimen in order to generate the Gcode. I've get the following error for my Contour:

And I've got the following error for my generated Gcode:

Can someone help me with what do these errors mean and how can I solve them?

Please attach your model that exhibit these errors.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section of a forum post to attach it.

The first warning is pretty self-explanatory, on a open toolpath the ramp has to go in the opposite direction to the cut.

And if the ramp angle is shallow it will go both directions.

If the path is open you might want to consider whether ramp is needed and you can just plunge.

The second error means you have not set the offset in the setup

Thanks for your reply. Could you please show me that how you plunged?(In the third figure). I have attached my model as well. 

Also, I was wondering to ask, what does this WCS offset exactly mean? Sorry I am new in this work.

To have your tool plunge, just remove the check mark in the Ramp Section.

@jhackney1972 Thank you so much for your help. I have another quick question. After plunging the tool, it ended up cutting my specimen in one step. But I don't want this to happen, and I want to cut it layer by layer (at least 2 or 3 layers). How can I control that in this software?

You can achieve what you want by adding multiple depths.  In the Screen Capture below, you can see my settings for the attached file.

I meant to do this on my last post.  I want to call your attention to the "blue" areas after your 2D Contour cut.  The one that concerns me is the blue on the bottom which is the extra stock material left.  You depth settings are going right through it potentially cutting into your vise or table.  If you are using a Spoil Board, then this may be acceptable.  Second the blue material on top probably should be faced off before the 2D Contour cut.
