Why did PressPull fail?

This is my first ever F360 drawing, so please forgive any stupidity.

I want to create a little bracket that fits on a face that's at rather an odd angle to the standard Left/Right planes.. I defined a sketch plane on another component that's perpendicular to the face, and created a sketch of the cross-section of the bracket. When I try to Press/Pull the sketch profile, it appears the work, until I press OK, when it just disappears. I've tried all the ways I can think of, but I can't figure it out.

I would post the actual drawing, but I don't know how.

@lemelman

I can tell from the pictures that your doing a cut instead of a new body. The fact that the extrusion is red shows this.

In the press/pull options box switch the operation from cut to new body.

Thank you, that was the problem. I'm almost learning more from building my own project than I did from watching/doing the tutorials.

@lemelman

The tutorials are great for getting the basics down, but if you really want to get good with Fusion...or any app for that matter, you need to work in the app.

I almost always use tools in ways they were never even meant to be used allowing me to achieve results a lot of people didn't even think were possible.

If you need help ask and we will try to help you get on your way, but don't rule out learning the basics from the tutorials and documentation.

A lot of us want to see your at least trying to help yourself before we step in and help.

Cheers

Phil
