Why can't I select or move one component like the others?

See the attached file. I have four components. One was made by opening a 3D DXF file and using features from that to extrude. It was then copied a couple times ("Wall Left"). "Wall Right" was created by inserting another DXF and using that sketch to extrude into a body. I want to copy and move that component, but when I select the Move Tool, I can't select that component. I can select the others like I would expect. If I use the Browser to select the component, I can only move it with a pivot point in the center; I can't choose a pivot point.

I can't tell why that component behaves differently from the others. This kind of weirdness makes Fusion 360 *extremely* frustrating to use.

I've seen your model.

You said that you have extruded it.

If that is the case try selecting bodies for move that are created while extruding.

You need to select body in selections while moving the objects. It  become easy for you to make moves pivot to pivot or whatever. Later you can create components from those bodies. It looks neat and clean too.

Hope that helps.

The body in this component has been marked "unselectable":

The red "no" symbol indicates the body is unselectable.  Right click and choose "selectable/unselectable" to make it selectable again.  Screencast to follow shortly

Thank you. I swear I looked for that and it wasn't marked that way. I looked for it because I had expressly marked a different component I was using to represent the stock as unselectable (it kept getting in the way). I thought maybe I had accidentally marked this the same way, so I went to undo that, and it did NOT show the "no entry" symbol. I did quit and re-launch fusion, maybe it started to show up then (because I see it now).

In any case, thank you.
