Fusion360 recognizes this plane as a faces as when I select it , it says 1 face at the bottom right corner. However when I'm embossing and such, I cant seem to use this plane as like the face select. Any reasons?

The Emboss command does not presently support compound angle faces.  This is why it will not select it.

You did not say but I am assuming you want to add material to the hull.  You can used Extrude and then Split Body to accomplish this.  Model is attached.

Edit: Love your file naming scheme.

I was just about to suggest the same (split body).
I'm glad you ended up using my version of the boat - even though it doesn't hollow out as far forward 🙂

Hi @0364156

I see that you want to build the boat.
For such a small boat, 1 mm wall thickness is enough. Even if you want to print it.
I would consider putting the deck on top of the hull. As it is now, water collects on the deck. A little slope to the sides also helps.
In 3D printing, I would consider something like this. That can be pushed in from the stern. In PETG it can even snap in from the top.

And it can even be print in spiral vase mode.

If you want, you can get ideas from one of my boats, have look at:
