In the past 3 days I made plenty if tests and I have to say 95% turn out as garbage or fail.

Anybody has some success stories or tips? Otherwise I just will give up on this software/process as it turns out to be a majr waste of time.

I was curious to use it to roughly digitize products for TS reskinning in Fusion.

I've used it with some success to capture human figures (heads). It requires some finagling but produced a good result. You really need to make sure you've got even lighting, a visually simple background and take enough pictures (but not too many) to capture the entire object.

If what you're after is scanning an object for product design I suspect the resolution may not be adequate and you might want to try a 3d scanner. I don't have experience with those but have heard the makerbot version is not good. If you want advice on that pls email me and I will get you in touch with the right person. Mike.geyer@autodesk.com

@michaelpgeyer We have that MakerBot scanner - don't know why they bought it because it is total junk really crap to be honest. I have a lot of experience with the next engine scanner which is pretty sufficient and well working.

the objects I might to try to digitize are too small like hand size but also bottles seem to be of an issue.

the amount of failed project is very hi which concerned. I am not sure if that is a fla in the iOS app or if t he pic desktop version is more reliable,

any idea?
