How to Edit an Imported Part in an Assembly

I've created a number of parts and then created a new blank part to assemble them in.

I've imported the parts into the "assembly" part and joined them as necessary. Once joined, I can see that some of the original parts need to be edited (moving or adding screw holes, etc.).

How do I edit a part that's been imported (referenced) from within the assembly? I know I can edit the original part and update it, but the exact placement of the new holes is only obvious from within the assembly.

I'm new to Fusion 360 but have always had this ability when using Alibre.

Thanks,
ken

The ability to edit referenced component within another component will be made available in future updates, not in its current iteration.

My guess the reason why it's not linked yet probably has to do with saving related stuffs and how it'll integrate with design branching (ala GitHub) in the coming updates as well.
