Where 'Scale' has gone?

In following video:

http://help.autodesk.com/view/NINVFUS/ENU/?guid=GUID-D3F6F79B-1498-48B3-B98C-7D57B620005A

There is presented the 'Scale' tool inside the 'Modify' menu.

If I open my 'Modify' menu there is no scale tool?

What I am missing?

Scale is not currently supported in history based modeling. There is an option to create designs that not capture design history which provides the tools that are not supported in history capture mode.

You can create models without parameters or history by changing your preference for new file creation to "Prompt" which will ask each time you create a file, or "Do not capture design history". I prefer the "prompt" option because I make models with and without capturing history/parameters. It's nice to have a choice up front.

Go to the three bar menu (upper left) > General > Fusion 360 > Design History to make this change.

Also, if you have started a design and wish to switch to capture or not capture design history, right clicking the top node of the model browser shows a menu with the option to switch to the opposite mode. "Capture Design History/Do not capture Design History"

Thanks,

Hi Phil.E,

thanks for reply. I never new that some features have to do with the timeline.

For me as 'simple user' it is quite difficult to understand that some features are available if timeline is enabled and some not.

Why edit face and scale is only available without timeline? Will there be an improvement in the future to make all functions available if timelien is enabled?

You are correct, we are working to implement all features in Capture Design History mode. These will be seen in future updates.
