What is the number of files limit to a Fusion Team Folder ?

Hi Guys,

We have currently mapped a Vault Folder to a Folder in Fusion Team as shown Below.

This folder alone contains close to 20,000 PDF files. Only while syncing the Vault Folder to a Folder in the Fusion Team hub, we found that a Fusion Team Folder can only allow upto a certain number of files (As shown in the below error message) .

Since this vault folder which we are trying to sync to a Fusion Team folder contains all the final approved drawings, we are avoiding to create sub folder structure.

The reason why we are trying to sync our Vault Folder to a Fusion Team folder is to share the data to External and Internal Stakeholders without giving them access to our Main Vault.

My Question is :

1. What is the number of files limit for a Fusion Team Folder ?

2. Also any Vault user will have lots of files in a particular folder, if there is a number of files limit to a Fusion team folder, it would not be practical to use this cloud mapping feature from Vault to Fusion Team.

Kindly looking forward to a reply from the Autodesk team.

Hi @Aadithya01,
Thanks for posting,
Any given project/folder can have either 10,000 subfolders, 10,000 file lineages or a mix summing to that limit.

Hi @robert.filiks ,

Thanks for your reply.

Is there any possibility to remove this files limit? Since one of my vault customer who would like to sync a particular vault folder to a fusion team project or fusion team folder. Having this files limit, the cloud mapping wouldn't be practical there.

Are there any talks of removing this files limit internally ?

Kindly looking forward to your reply.
