What is the limit size for models on Fusion 360?

I'd like to know if there is a limit on the model size that can be build using fusion 360. Is it capable of handling big assemblies?
In a related question what is the space limit in a fusion 360 account for models? I see 5gb in my account for A360, is that the space for other files or for Fusion 360 files?

Large assemblies can be a relative term. For example, a single pattern feature can bring any CAD product to a screeching halt with only a single part. Sorry to be so vague, but it will really depend on the design, complexity of the components/geometry in the design. I hate to put a number specific number of components out there as the limit. Especially since Fusion 360 is improving all the time! Hardware could play a role as well. Lot's of RAM and dedicated Video Memory will go a long way...

Can you give us some idea of the large assembly you have in mind? How many components? How many are unique components? How complex are the components in the assembly?

I'll try to give a little background for the question.

I'm checking out fusion out of personal interest but in my day to day job I work on shipbuilding engineering. THe models we manage can count from a few components to tens of thousand components. Obviously they they are not all unique, but many of then are quite complicated as they have complex surfaces.

I understand this kind of application is probably not the target of your actual product, but I was wondering if it would be feasible. By the way, as a personal tool for designing and making prototypes I'm finding very interesting.

With regard to the space, I have used models that take hundreds of megs and even a gb. I was wondering if there is a size limit with regard to space of either components or assemblies. I can see in my profile in A360 a limit of 5gb. Fusion 360 files count towards that limit?
