Watch Case Radi on Edges unable to make

Good morning everyone

Im designing this Watch Case on fusion got most of it done but I cant seem to work out how

to make the radius on the tops of the arms or the edges leading from one arm to the other, does anyone have an idea of how I can do this? I'm still learning fusion so might be something Im missing

Thank You

Scott Weller

Looking at this now and I would start over from scratch.

The reason is that you used solid primitives to create this design and that is just not a good idea as the primitives in Fusion 360 really are not fully parametric. The screencast shows how to create a curved surface. This isn't trivial, but hopefully, it gives you the tools needed for this task. The model is attached, but as mentioned already I'd start from scratch with dimensioned sketches.

@TrippyLighting

Thank you for that i've tryed doing the surfaces before but my knowlodge of it is very lacking, I will learn what I can from what you've shown so far, there isn't need for it to be perfect as it's only a protoype at the moment but need to learn abit more so can get this done.

will have a look at the constraits and the mirroring as not used the mirror feature to do from one corner

thanks again

Hi,

If you are then already on the way to optimisation, I recommend replacing the spherical section of the floor with the @TrippyLighting  technique.
