Visibilty of images in forum posts

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone else has this (very anoying) problem.

When i'm logged in to my Autodesk account, and go to the Autodesk forums, inserted images are no visible in the posts (see first attached pic.)

When i log out, the images do appear (second pic.)

Anyone else seen this before and if so, is there a solution?

I using Firefox.

I also have gone through all my preferences and site setting, but nothing helped

Thanks,

Wap

Hi @Wapster - thanks for reporting this.  To help isolate the issue, would you mind trying to see if you have the same behavior on another browser (e.g. Chrome)?  If not, could you then try clearing your cache on Firefox?

It might also help to disable any ad-block software on the forums.autodesk.com website. Another test may be to open your browser in Incognito or Private browsing mode. This should disable the browser plug-ins.

Thanks,

Goodmorning Brian and Nathan,

Done it all. I even did a refresh on firefox and cleaned op my workstation with Ccleaner. No luck.

Same problem using IE (no Chrome on my pc (yet))

Tried it on an other pc.... same problem (both Firefox and IE)

I don't use ad-blockers and tested it in a private browse session, again no luck.

I'm gonna sit in a corner and cry the rest of the day Smiley Sad

Thanks for replying.

Greets,

Wap

Hey @Wapster - we're looking into one other thing with your profile that may be causing this issue.  It's a unique situation and we're working with the forum vendor to resolve.  Stay tuned!

@Wapster - we've made a change in a setting in your profile, would you mind trying again to see if it now works?

Long story short, your profile for some reason had an option to ignore HTML set, meaning that when you were in a logged-in state it wouldn't show HTML content.  Up until about a month ago this was an option you could adjust on your own, but with a recent profile cleanup the toggle was removed.  Hopefully us manually changing this for you from the backend does the trick!

Hi Brian,

Thank you for your efforts but it's still not working....
