I looked at some Fusion 360 video's and it is certainly interesting. We do 2 kinds of technical drawings, the commercial phase ones and the detailed shop drawings.
We do both in Inventor for the moment.
I didn't see library funtions inside Fusion 360. For the detailed shop drawings, we may stick to inventor. The detailed drawings also include very large assemblies, so it might be that F360is not capable of handling them.
But for commercial plans, which consists of a groundfloorplan with simplied machines stairs (in inventor we have them from a library), building etc, it might be better in F360 for sharing capabilities, remarks, collaboration and discussions with the client. Anybody doing plant/piping work with F360?
the work that is done in Inventor or F360, is it usable in the other system 1 on 1? Edited in F360, changes also come through in Inventor?
Maybe we can still do the work in Inventor and use F360 share and comment (when visiting the client) on the imported Iventor Projects?
