Hey Folks

As this new update has taken place, another AMD users and I will need to update the information on AMD Catalyst (FUSION.EXE Directory).

Since on Catalyst showing right now a wrong directory, I wonder what should be added insteady??? the Fusionlauncher.EXE with the little rocket icon?
C:\Users\COMPUTER NAME\AppData\Local\Autodesk\webdeploy\production\6a0c9611291d45bb9226980209917c3d

or as before, the Fusion360 application from a different directory? Worth remember that the Desktop Icon is not a viable resouce for this matter.

Looking forward to hear from anybody

Cheers

Hi,

The new exe that you mention is responsible for launching Fusion itself. With every update, Fusion installs itself to a new folder. This had the disadvantage that if anyone pinned a shortcut to their task bar, it would become invalid after an update. By using a stable launcher exe we have solved this issue to avoid these kinds of problems after the update. So all shortcuts created by the installer use this new launcher exe as the target. Please let me know if I can help clarify anything further.
