Unsuccessfully trying to loft between two bodies

Hello!

I'm new to Fusion 360, but love using it.  I've got an issue that I was hoping someone could point me into the right direction.

I've got 2 bodies, where one is a smaller version of the other.  I'd like to join them together, and thought the Loft tool would be the way to go. But I was apparently wrong, as that errored out.

I've included 2 photos of the 2 surfaces I'm trying to "loft" between.

Any insights would be most appreciated! Thanks!

Can you File>Export and then Attach your *.f3d file here?

Thanks!  So looks like you deleted the 2 blue faces/surfaces I had in the second image, and then did lofting for the inner circle, and lofting for the outer circle. Was this in "Patch" view?

Loft won't do a hollow body. So I attacked this by making two new sketches...one on the holder cap face and one on the insert face...each with projected edges of the appropriate face. Then lofted between those two profiles twice...once for the outside then once for the inside to cut it out and make it hollow.
