Unknown meshing error

I'm trying to do a simulation of the effect of pressure on my submarine hull. However, during the meshing I get the following error:

Small sub v81: Small sub v81 - Study 1 - Static Stress
_____ 2016-12-18 16:25:26 _____
Job has finished with errors. Receiving results.
Error: Mesh is not computed
Error: Unknown meshing error

This is a model that I have been able to simulate just fine in previous revisions, but I have apparently added something to it today that broke this. There are not a lot of hints in the error message.

Note that you will find that I did not add any constraints to the simulation but instead turned on "Remove ridgid body modes". As I learned here, this is the appropriate way to do pressure simulation for my case.

Hi @martinhansdk,

I was able to successfully mesh the model you attached both locally on it solved successfully on the cloud when I submitted it without mesh. Were there any changes you might have made between the model you attached and the one that was having problems meshing?

Hi @Andrew.Sartorelli,

I did not make any changes before exporting the model. After your message I tried to open the design on a different PC (my laptop) and here it works fine. After saving the design on the laptop and going back to my workstation it still won't mesh it here. It is beginning look as if there is some local state on my workstation that causes this to fail but which is not part of the exported file or the design in the cloud.

Hi @Andrew.Sartorelli,

Now I am back on my workstation and tried simulation again. This time it worked flawlessly. Two things may have caused this:

1. I edited the model on my laptop again prior to opening it on the workstation and started a cloud solve there
2. When I opened Fusion 360 on the workstation it asked me to login again

Whatever it was, I'm happy and back in business now and never needed to use the instructions you sent me.

By the way. I must say this ability to do static stress simulations in Fusion is absolutely great. We would be designing our submarine all wrong without it. It's truely a lifesaver - not just in the metaphorical sense.
