Unknown Meshing error in Physiks simulation unsing Parts which were made using auomatic Modelling

Hello,
i recently designed a part in which i used auotmatic modelling.

Like always i wanted to run a really simple physics simulation (static load, big mesh), on

the Modell where the part is used in. Now im getting an error("unknown meshing error"),

which i was able to track down to this specific part. How can i fix that? did i do anything wrong or

may this just be a problem with fusion?

Big Thanks to everyone who takes time to help me with my problem!!

Hi @myloisadog,

The mesh error may be caused by a geometry issue in the body created by automated modeling.  The Inspect > Validate command can be used to detect and repair geometry errors (the Design History needs to be turned off for the Validate command to become available).

If the geometry error can't be fixed automatically, please attach the design (File > Export... > f3d). I'll be happy to take a look.

Best regards,

Hello, yes please help me,

i made a new design by now and tried what you said. It gives errors i dont know how to fix.

Thank you for your help, and please explain to me how you've done it.

Thanks!

Hi @myloisadog,

Could you attach the f3d file that has the meshing error?

With the design open:
1. File > Export...

2. Have the file type set as f3d

3. Save it to your local disk

4. Attach the f3d file in a reply post

I just tried it, tho i can somehow only export to f3z. Which i somehow cannot attach to a post

Hi @myloisadog,

Can you change the file extension from f3z to zip and attach it? Or zip up the f3z and attach it?
It's a temporary glitch in our forum that we can't attach an f3z.

Thanks,

this seems to work

Hi @myloisadog,

I found a workaround that will allow the model to mesh and solve. The Combine features that cut, then joined the solid bodies to the organic geometry from the Automated modeling caused geometry issues for the mesher. If the Combine features are suppressed, bonded contacts will be automatically generated between those bodies (modified model attached).

Hope this helps,

Thanks allot! Would have probably taken me ages to figure that out.

Youre the best.
