Hi, 

I have a sculpted body which has smooth edges. When I want to insert an edge from one point to another the whole body gets sharp edges and using the uncease command I cannot get this to return to smooth edges (can either not select the edges or it just simply does not do anything when pressing 'ok'). Does anybody know how to get this done?

HI @Anonymous,

Maybe inserted edge created bad topology in the body, use repair body (Utilities->Repair Body) and do auto repair, it may fix the bad topology.

Without having access to your model we cannot really provide useful advise for this sort of question.
