Unable to close sketch to form profile

I created an initial sketch by projecting onto a plane. I took a copy of that sketch and enlarged some edges. I’m trying to Loft the two profiles from the sketches, but I’m not able to select the profile of the modified sketch (presumably because it isn’t closed).
I followed the steps here: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/The...
After making sure there were no open points, it was still not resulting in a selectable profile so I tried the steps at the bottom:
- If the sketch is confirmed to be closed but the issue persists, try copying the geometry and paste it into a new sketch. Some sketch relations might be lost, but it will now show closed profiles.
- Make sure the sketch lies completely on a plane. If it doesn't lie completely, project the sketch onto the plane.
And the issue persists. The original sketch is `base_0` and the modified (problematic) sketch is `end_0`. Any help with this issue is greatly appreciated, thank you! (I’m pretty new to Fusion 360)
