Hi I read everywhere about features for fusion 360 ultimate, but I can't find any website for it or information on how to get it.
I currently use a hobby license for fusion 360.

Also I didnt find any suiting topic for this question..

Where have you heard of ultimate? What additional features does it have?

At this moment there's only one version of Fusion 360 available, but very soon (~couple of weeks) there will be a second version -- Ultimate.  This second version will include advanced capabilities relate to things like CAM and Simulation. Specifics will come to light once it's released, but at this moment I'm trying to stay somewhat vague as I don't want to leak anything I'm not supposed to.

I hope that helps! When it gets released you'll know...trust me!

Fusion started out as Basic and Ultimate but they increased the capabilities of Basic until it was the same as Ultimate.  If you originally had Ultimate you were a little bummed, if you had Basic you were happy.  Hard to complain that the cheaper version morphed into the high end version without a price increase.  I have Ultimate and am a little curious what the difference will be but Basic covers my needs so not too curious.  Also don't put too much into release dates since they usually change.

This is all true....that release dates change and Ultimate is making a bit of a resurgence. This time with WAY more firepower though, and we're taking every effort to ensure early adopters are taken care of.

Just wait until you see all that it includes! Anyway, on this post Srinath notes the price at $1,500/year.

Keep your eyes peeled for our "What's New" video!

So I take it that means Ultimate is not being released today like all the emails I got asking me to renew suggested?

Not today. Very soon though....Nov 2nd was our original goal.

I don't mean to direct this specifically at you personally, but that's more than a little disappointing. As an early Ultimate adopter, that means I'll have gone nearly 2 years without any significant delineation between Ultimate and Basic. This short reply can't even come close to expressing how dissatisfied this makes me, but I will give a suggestion as to what it would mean to take care of your early adopters.

In my opinion, Autodesk should provide 1 year of Fusion Ultimate for every early adopter who signed up for Ultimate and paid for 1 year of Ultimate. To date, I have not been given a year of Ultimate, so I still feel like I have not been given what I paid for. That would be taking care of your early Ultimate adopters. Giving us an extra year of Fusion Basic for free (I have been reminded of how generous this was several times in email communications) is not the same thing as providing the Fusion Ultimate that we were signing up for 2 years ago. I could go into great detail, but it would probably come off as a rant, so I'll leave it at that. If you want more information as to why I think it is the right move, I'll supply it on request.

The email I got saying that Fusion Ultimate was coming back on Nov. 2nd (made no mention of it being a possible target date, but implied it was a hard deadline) and also asking for more money was not the right move. An email saying "We promised you Ultimate 2 years ago, and we'll soon deliver. When Ultimate returns, you'll receive an extended license for 1 year following it's release!" would have gone a lot further toward making your early adopters happy. I can't speak for all early adopters, but I did not get a good feeling when I read the email I received. Instead, I was reminded, indirectly, that I have now gone 2 years without the product I signed up for and now need to pay more to continue the saga. I'm sure that the email met most early adopters with mixed feelings at the very least. I'm not sure how anyone could read the following (actual email from Autodesk regarding Ultimate) without feeling a bit insulted. It fails to acknowledge, at all, that the offer was to get Fusion Ultimate at the base price and it has never happened to date. It gives the impression that I've been getting Ultimate for two years, with the last year for free (I would not consider that an accurate portrayal). Other than cloud credits, which I don't really use, there is little to distinguish the experience from Basic in reality. Also, trying to elicit gratitude by starting the email off reminding subscribers of how generous you (Autodesk) have been is not the way I'd have chosen to communicate either. In my opinion, an a apology regarding the lack of progress on Fusion Ultimate over the last 2 years would have been a more appropriate way to start that letter. After the snip below, there were instructions on how to make sure and pay.

Autodesk: Resources to help you with Fusion 360

Hi Michael,

As I’m sure you remember, as an early adopter of Fusion 360 we offered Ultimate to you at the base price and extended your agreement last year for 1 year free on us.

Your current agreement is set to expire on 12/10/2016 and I wanted to make you aware that Fusion 360 Ultimate is returning on November 2, 2016.

Hey Michael,

Sorry to hear about your frustration with the re-announcement of Fusion 360 Ultimate.

I would like to shed a little light around our earlier Ultimate release. We realized shortly after we brought Fusion 360 to market that we wanted to have a higher tier that offered additional capabilities but never wanted people to feel a bait and switch. We have worked very hard to have the majority of functionality in Fusion 360 and its taken longer than we anticipated to bring the more advanced tools to market that will go into Fusion 360 Ultimate

When we announced Ultimate a few years ago we grandfathered our early adopters in so they would get this capability when it was release for the same price as Fusion 360 and wouldn't feel like they were paying for something they weren't immediately getting. It took us much longer to get features into Fusion 360 Ultimate than we anticipated so last year we gave a free year to those that were grandfathered in as well as a good will gesture. In hindsight we probably should have waited to share our plans on Ultimate but we have tried to let the community dive our direction and we want you to be involved as early as we can on things like this. We learn along the way and have tried to make it right with you our customers.

Again we are sorry to hear about your frustration on this. Can you shed some light on the functionality you were looking for over the last few years that you would like to have in Ultimate?  Also I would be happy to chat with you if you want to send me a private message with your phone number.

Primarily I've been waiting for the additional CAM capabilities. The frustration is not the re-announcement, it's with the lack of follow through that has been present for every announcement made regarding Ultimate over a 2 year span. It just doesn't feel like early adopters of Ultimate have been given a truthful accounting of where we are at. Anyone running a business has those sort of things happen unintentionally from time to time (you think you'll finish a project on Tuesday and it drags on a few more days), but I know that I find other ways to give customers who experience that a positive reason to come back with their next job.

As a very early adopter, I started using it before AD started charging for it and I was in the first group to beta the CAM module, they way I remember it when Ultimate was first announced Basic would only have 2-1/2 D milling, Ultimate would have 3D milling.  This soon changed, not sure Basic ever had just 2-1/2D, and before you knew it the Basic folks were getting Ultimate.  It is hard to find fault with that decision, kudos to AD.  So you have been getting Ultimate all along, as well as everyone else.  Not to worry as I too have voiced my frustrations with being an Early Adopter as well, like when Basic subscribers were able to renew for $25 and do so for a few years.

I figured out fairly soon that release dates and time frames for new features are just rough estimates, even when they are given as solid.  I doubt this is going to change so let it go.  Earlier in October I was told October 26th was when Ultimate would return, then a few weeks when that date passed, now November 2nd, want to guess what the next date will be?  It will happen when it is ready.  Some rushed releases didn't go too well, don't want to try that again.

As for a positive reason to keep up your subscription, where else do you get such a good cad/cam system for $300?  That always works for me.
