Trouble with rectangular pattern of extruded feature

Hello,

I'm fairly new to Fusion 360, and I've been trying to create a simple box with honeycomb patterns on each side.

The last time I did this, I used sketches and rectangular patterns, but I’ve read that it’s better to create patterns using features.

I was following this video: https://youtu.be/4VctTiB1DE0?si=9Nt_lXzQbklai3Og

Everything works almost fine, but in his example the pattern extends all the way to the edge (including half-circles), whereas in my case I only get whole honeycombs. What am I missing?

I’m also trying to make the design parametric so it’s easier to adjust later if needed.

he's doing the part with the holes separate from the frame that goes around it.  that's the part you're missing.

@laughingcreek
Thank you very much, it looks like it is a diffrent approch from mine, You are first building base and later going up, and I was thinking it would be easie to build whole object and then cut.

But now I have another problem, how I'm supposed to make honeycomb on 4 walls of the box, becasue the extrusion part is the last step of this whole process?

Hi,

In the screencast, I demonstrate a method for facing pages. The frames and web widths are variable.
