a chandelier was built using twelve 3D print panels and a LED COB strip

Serious consideration is given altering the design to use translucent diffusers so the LED COB strips cannot be seen directly.

Meantime another commission for a chandelier has been received.

The design of the chandelier is two sixteen-sided polygons about 20 millimeters tall one above the other
separated by sixteen 2 inch beveled glass triangles.

The challenge is fitting the beveled glass triangles into polygon shapes at the top and bottom.

In the past when an object manufactured by a third party becomes a part of the design, good success has been achieved by creating a Component in fusion of the manufactured piece and fitting into the Fusion design.

Examples are printed circuit boards and servo motors.

To this end a replica of the beveled glass triangles is sought.
Drafting the 2" isosceles triangle is a cinch but I am stuck on how to
create the bevels.

Tried the built in bevel command but it is rounded and does not provide
the much acute bevel that the glass has.

In ideas on how to achieve would be greatly appreciated

Not at a computer, replying from phone.  From the pic it looks like you used fillet command.  You need chamfer command.

Item 1: Base sketch is blue and missing a Horizontal Constraint on the "horizontal" line.

Blue lines should keep you awake at night.

 

Item 2: Sketch1 in Glass2 has a tiny extraneous line. No red lock symbol on sketch should keep you awake at night.

Item 3: Bevel sketch is missing red lock symbol and has three extraneous lines overtop of other lines.

The issue isn't so much that they are there (no effect) but how did they get there?  They should not occur by accident.

Before I take the time to demonstrate how to split this up into individual beveled panels - is something like the Attached where you are going with this?

Hello CADWhisper and the Fusion forum,

 

Have been out of town so it has taken awhile to reply. 
Yes CAD, that is the shape. 
Your reply, ‘individual beveled panels’ gives me an idea about how

to solve the shape. Instead of beginning the sketch in the XY plane (the base)

begin with a sketch in one of the two vertical planes (YZ or XZ) and create a section

of the bevel shape. Then create a sketch in the base plane to shape the rectangle created in the first sketch into a trapezoid. Then the created trapezoidal shape is duplicated twice so now there are three shapes. Then the three trapezoids are joined at the shortest

sides to form a triangle. The sides of the formed triangle are projected into a third sketch to extrude a fourth part, a three dimensional triangle which joins the three short sides of the three dimensional trapezoids.

Will try this when I get back to the laptop and advise.
