Hello!

First time post here :)!

I'm having fun designing planters and I often try to understand the process behind model that are interesting to me. I found this very nice planter's plate that I printed, and after many trials I can't figure out how to achieve this shape in Fusion. The closest I got was by creating a full "bowl" shape with a revolve and cut at an angle, but I find it really hard to control the width of the edges, and I can't get nice round edges where the cut happen....
Hope someone can help me at least getting started!

Thank you all!

There are lots of ways to model this.  To my eye, the underlying shape of the bowl seems a simple revolved shape.  Look at the attached model.  I created a solid revolve, shelled it, then created a curve splitting surface, used Split Body and Remove to result in the part to keep, and applied a Full Round Fillet to the top.

Thank you Jeff!

I managed to make something very similar using your file!

I think I was close to the solution during my initial trials but for some reason, my cut was never doing what I wanted!
