Hi All,

I need some advise on training on Fusion 360 within Australia. Intend of training is to learn Simulation part. I import or latest project shows up on my project files. I need to learn the penetration of projectile onto the metal. The industry I work in has lot to do with cracking and breaking with impact of sharp objects. Inventor gives only displacement and safety factor but we need to know if the force applied with deflect or go past the target material.

Fusion is inbuilt and I figured out that is only application of Autodesk which I already have which can perform this. Most of the training courses has basic designing skills which I do not need. Is there any courses available in Australia that I can enrol to learn this ? I don't mind online tutorial or classroom based training.

Any help or guidance will be very helpful.

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,

Yash

Hi Yash!

Sounds like an interesting simulation! I think this could potentially be a good match for our new event simulation within Fusion. This can be found as a preview so if you enable it via Preferences - Preview - Event simulation (as seen in the attached image).

There is some additional online training for the simulation environment within Fusion360 here:

https://academy.autodesk.com/fusion-360-simulation-course-series

Hope this helps, if it does please mark this as a solution!

Pete

Hi Peter,

Thanks for suggestion. I have gone through few event simulation and the sample simulation of axe breaking the wood and projectile cutting through plate got me interested. I shared that with my Manager and he said if we can master them and show further than what Inventor FEA does, then it will be more realistic results. I was looking for CBT mainly so I can concentrate on that fully as online training will incur some distraction as work is getting busier and so I wont be able to devote time and learn thoroughly.

Regards,

Yash
