Since the June update I'm unable to read tooltips because they disappear too quickly. The link below is a Screencast of the problem.

BTW this quick tip :
the fastest is to minimize all windows and re-open only the F360 one.

I have tried all the above  but none work for me, tool tips worked well before the last update, until the bug is fixed I just add the tool to the toolbar where the tips work.

Thanks for the tip: place the commands on the toolbar.

UPDATE:

We are working on a systematic fix for a lot of these UI issues. We hope to be able to address this. Unfortunately, nobody here can reproduce it. Without a way to reproduce it, we have no idea how to fix it, or if a systematic fix would correct this behavior. I can say that in my testing of this build I consistently see tooltips normally, FWIW, on Mac and Windows machines.

After the early November update please let us know if the problem is gone. If not, we'll have to try harder.

Thanks for your patience with this.

I experience this bug, although it is fixed(for me at least) by minimizing all windows and then opening only the Fusion 360 window, after which the tool tips stays on screen.

Can you confirm if the problem still exists in the current build?

It seems to be solved, at least within the last version I can open menus and see tooltips.

Is there a quick solution for this issue, some workaround?

Restarting Fusion doesn't help. I'm on version 2.0.3133. Only some of the tool tips disappear too quickly. Others work fine.

I just encountered this bug as described earlier in the thread--it definitely isn't fixed.

Hi, thanks for reporting. This problem recently started up again. It has actually been fixed for a couple years, this is a post about it from when it first happened.

We know about the issue and are currently testing the fix for it. It is expected to be included in an upcoming update.

The workaround is to use the left mouse button. Just push down on the button and do not let up as you mouse over the commands. You'll see the tooltip remains while you do this.

Thanks again, sorry for the inconvenience.

I am also new to Fusion 360 and have been experiencing this bug.  I searched for a fix, and did find another work around somewhere.  If you grab the top menu, and move it to the bottom so that it docks on the bottom of the fusion 360 screen, the tool tips will usually work.

After that, you can drag it back up to the top, and dock it there again, and the tips will still work.

Sorry you are having this trouble. It's the same for every single Fusion 360 customer using the Windows operating system. It's not your machine or drivers or anything like that. Thanks for your patience while we get this sorted out again.

It's still happening to me!

What information do you need to make this information useful?

@KhrisKhad Sorry for the trouble. The fix is not yet ready to include in an update. We plan to release the fix ASAP, just not this week.

It is August of 2018 and this problem is still not fixed.  The tip information is under the F360 window, and if you move the window far to the right so only the left corner is visible, one can see the tips are partly visible.

If this basic feature isn't going to be fixed then just say so.

And in an Insta-Stealth-Update it appears to be fixed!  Amazing and thank you.

i am having the same issue since the update.

some tips popup for longer than others, every once in a while i get lucky and one stays long enough to read.

uninstalling the software and reinstalling is not an option i am going to accept as a solution.

even having to delete files to make it work is ridiculous.
