Toolpath for a chamfered edge

I have an upright cylinder with a chamfered edge. I want to create a chamfering toolpath for it. I found this article, but when I go to select the geometry, Fusion360 selects the circles at the top or bottom edge of the chamfer, not the chamfer itself. I get a separate red arrow for each circle, but the article shows a screenshot with only one arrow per chamfer.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks.

I think when you use the chamfer toolpath you don't actually want the geometry to be modeled.  You would just leave the edge as a "hard" edge in the model and then select that edge as the contour for the chamfer.  THen you can apply the relevant parameters in the definition of the operation.

Although there may be another way, i think this is how it is done for now.

I don't think that's necessary (or desirable). It's really nice to see the chamfer in the model. But I found another article that's a little more clear. It talks about the two curves of the chamfer, says both will work, but that setting things up is easier if the lower curve is selected.
