Sometimes controls disappear

I'm running Fusion360 on a MacBook Pro. Sometimes I have an external monitor connected, sometimes not. It seems that when switching from the external monitor to the built-in display, some tool palettes disappear. This has happened with the view-control palette that lives in the bottom center area of the canvas, and with the CAM simulation controls that live in the same area.

Is there a workaround to get these to redisplay? It doesn't seem to be enough to resize the window, but they come back when the second display is plugged in. Restarting Fusion360 also fixes the problem.

Perhaps when the window is resized by the system, the palettes are not moving with the window edge?

I too use it on an external monitor with a MBP and go back and forth between laptop and external monitor.  Usually when something disappears it is a palatte and it is just off screen.  If you do View -> Reset to Default Layout it will redraw and move palattes back onto the main window.  I use this often now to get things sane after switching monitors.  However, yesterday I had the timeline disappear (the whole bottom tool bar) in a drawing.  View -> Reset to Default Layout was no help.  I had to kill and restart Fusion 360.  It has only happened that once to me though...

This just happened to me too, and I cannot find the time-line 😞
