Sweep Tool with Guide Rail Not Behaving As Expected

Hi,

I am designing a tube with a flare in one section.  I am using the sweep tool with a guide rail.  It only renders the flare correctly on the side with the guide rail.  What do I need to do to fix this issue without having to create a guide rail on the other side of the path?  (file attached showing one side distorted)

So apparently, the issue has to do with the arc of the curve for the flare.  A slight change to the curve and the problem goes away.
