Sweep need connection!

I have a query. Do sweep command requires to connect path and profiles? or there is another way to make sweep?

In Autodesk Fusion 360, while making a sweep you need to concerned about the connection or intersection between the profile and paths here.

Yes and no, 

there must be a relationship between the path and profiles, but don't have to be connected.
