Sweep cannot a simple sweep like for threading?

I wanted to build a custom threading but trimming a coil with a sweep path but ran into an issue with Fusion not being able to crete a sweep like I can do in MOI or Alias.

And this is what Fusion sweep can only do:

Here is a MOI screenshot: showing you that sweep uses the flat and not freeform.

This way the square profile follows the rail path without twisting.

In Alias the trick is to have a start and end profile:

So does this mean the Fusion Sweep command cannot do such a basic sweep?

Hi Claas,

Using the 'Path+Guide Rail' option for this sweep will control the twist of the profile as it is swept along the path.  You can find this option in the "Type" dropdown in the Sweep dialog.  Choose this option, select the sweep profile, path and another spiral edge in the body you already have as the Guide Rail.  That should give you the result you are looking for.

Ah looks like there is some sort of an issue with the algorythm

with 0.99 it will work

Probably some issue that has been fixed in internal builds.  Would you mind attaching your part to the posting?  I can look further into this.
