Sketch scaling bug?

Whenever I create a sketch (a square for example), and then scale the sketch using the scale tool, the sketch is no longer recognized as a closed perimeter (the area inside the square stops being shaded after the scale operation).  Since it is not recognized as a closed perimeter, I cannot use the scaled sketch to do a loft operation, for example.  I don't see any way of going around this, and it's delaying me.  Is this a bug?

Thanks,
Juan

It certainly sounds like a bug.  Does this happen for you on every single sketch, even simple ones?  If not, can you possibly share your design?

Thanks,

Hi Juan!  I've come across this quite a bit as well for scaled sketches.  I don't have access to Fusion right now, but I think it was turning the affected sketch visibility off and then on that would fix the issue (I believe the issue may come back occasionally for the sketch, being resolved the same way).  If it turns out I'm not remembering correctly, then perhaps it was right clicking on the sketch to edit, then exiting editing mode that resolved the issue of the tan colored profile indication not showing.  I'm pretty sure it was one of those two that fixed it 😉

Yes it is a bug that is fixed in development currently.

Workaround: Find the sketch in the browser after you've scaled it. Right click on it and pick show/hide profile. Repeat.

The profile should return.
