Surface to sheet metal conversion

Hi there i created the (estimated) surface version of a cover plate.
I need to be able to kinda change the measurements still a bit.

What is fixed is that the material is 3mm steel S235JR.

I tried a lot of version, in the best i could move it to a sheet metal but while unfolding it only detected 2 bends.

This surface isn't planner, so it's not going to unfold.

But its producable...

A friend of mine did the first version of it.
But he left the project and his file is not usable and completly impossible to adjust which i need to do.

How do I solve it?
Also i had the problem with the triangle surface in the back aswell

All of your bends need to have fillets applied, then stitch and then thicken the thing to match with your selected sheet metal rule.

You also probably need to model corner relieves before thickening (not sure).

Then convert it to a sheet metal object.

By fillets you mean round corners?
Or which function should i use?

sorry not a native speaker and I only did these kind of things in Inventor so far.
But this project has to be done in Fusion:

Thanks for the answers

Sorry for the late reply.

I didnt save it in that exact version cause i was doing a lot of try and error.

I recreated the failure in this version, maybe this hellps to understand my failure better.

looking forward to your reply

as with the previously attached model, this face is twisted.  you can't flatten a face that curves in 2 directions with sheet metal.  the face was created using loft.  you can create a planer face with a loft, but you have to be very careful how you set it up.

This can be achieved several ways without a loft. But obviously something has got to give.

You'll have to decide where.

Sorry for answering only now, but thank you 🙂
I finally understood the logic behind it.
I Had my surfaces not correctly defined.
