Feature Request - Capture Design History ON by Default on imported STEP files

Hello, there are many features I would love to see Fusion implement (being able to dimension to zero, for instance). But this one should be easier than changing the way the program functions.

I have Capture Design History ON by Default. Great -- EXCEPT when working on imported files! For example, if I import a STEP file, Capture Design History is OFF!

This has frustrated me and now I am posting to please either fix this, or point out to me if there is a separate Default setting for imported files.

There is no separate preference setting for this; perhaps that might even be a good thing. 

There are good reasons not to turn the design history on by default for imported geometry!

1. File size goes up by roughly a factor of three.

2. De-featuring becomes more cumbersome. All feature deletions are now recorded, which might not be desirable.

3. The assembly structure of DM assemblies is way much easier to re-structure.
