When I select Cura as an option I get the following message "fusion 360 does not have suffcient privileges to launch print utility. The print utility must be manually launched once in order allow fusionm360 to launch it. Please launch print utility from, the application menu".

I am using a new iMac and I. Am lost! How do,I manually launch the print utility.

"In tears!" Thanks

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for asking about that.

Could you may check if the solution in this post here would help you to answer your question?

Mike,

No. I tried all the things that were discussed in the post you linked to and I cannot get my project to print.

I just spend $4500 on a new iMac and Lutzbot Taz 6, (which uses Cura) and I cannot get a single project to print. I know the printer works because I printed two sample projects that came with the printer.

I have used Mac's my entire life but I cannot figure out how to "manually launch print utility" as I am told to do in the warning that pops up when I select Cura (or Custom) to print. I own everything so I do not know why Fusion 360 does not have "sufficient privileges". The following is what the warning says. After a big reds stop sign it states "Fusion 360 does not have sufficient privileges to launch the Print Utility. The Print Utility must be manually launched once in order [to] allow Fusion 360 to launch it. Please launch Print Utility from the Applications menu."

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for the update.

Just for now, could you mesh your design in the mesh work space and export it from there to your local computer.

I would be happy to get on a call with you. Please, feel free to share your contact information with me via "Private Message".

Please, keep me updated.

Thanks,

I meshed my design in the work space and exported it to my computer desktop. From there I was able to open the project in Cura and print it. However when I do it this way my Lulzbot Taz 6 will not go through the automatic bed leveling process and the printed project was a true mess.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for sharing this.

That sounds more like an issue which points to the import instead of the export.

Could you may share your file with me and I can try to test a couple things.

Looking forward to hear from you.

Thanks,
