STEP/IGS upload fails

For the past few days, every time I try to upload a STEP or IGES file, it hangs and fails. Never had issues before.

Oddly, when I use the process to directly upload an item from McMaster, it works. Sadly, McMaster doesn't have what I need.

Is this something new?

Edit: I uploaded the same file to Autodesk's viewer, it displays there just fine, so it's not a corrupt file.

EDIT #2:
The AD viewer has a function to "open in Fusion 360". Pushed the button, and it worked!
Still, why do I have to use a work-around? Why doesn't this just work in F360????

@patmat2350 Can you confirm if you are on version 2.0.17457? We recently fixed a very similar issue.

Fusion 360 2.0.15509 x86_64 /personal

Shouldn't I automatically receive the latest updates?

@patmat2350 @You absolutely should. Not sure what happened. Can you manually update to the latest and this problem should go away.

Ummm...
No available update shows in jobStatus.
Tried the installer, get this:

Checked my version again, got this:

@patmat2350 Lets do this:

1. Close Fusion
2. Delete the shortcut that you are using to launch Fusion (this is important )
3. Go to add/remove programs
4. Select Fusion
5. Select modify

This will launch the Fusion service utility

6. Run the repair Fusion

This should create a new shortcut and take you to the latest version. You should now also receive regular updates.

OK thx, this turned into a mess with failed installs.
I'll take it to the support forum as directed here:

@patmat2350 Please do attach the logs here. I can take a look.

A restart of the machine and then a repair could help too.

Thx, already resolved in the Support forum, required a tedious manual uninstall
