Hello
is there a way to find out how much square meters my model is?
I'm going to make this bench that you see in the link, and I want to find out how many plates need to be used, without using the arrange tool.

Does 11.24M2 sound about right?

my guess:

1.124...Move the decimal point 7 places to the right adding zeros as necessary then divide by 1000 and divide by 1000 again

Hi,

1. you can define m as a unit in the document settings in the browser.
2. note that the properties show the entire surface of the part, i.e. top + bottom + surface of all edges.

I have computed the area by copying only the necessary part.

I believe that this should have produced the correct result.

I will duplicate the surface by offsetting it.

Select all the surface bodies and then choose "Properties" from the right-click menu.

The result shown here represents the surface area of the board.

Hi,

Try it this way.
So you can also determine the edge lengths "loop" for a plate.

Yes I wonder if the figure offered in Scientific notation is the total surface area?

Hi,

Body Properties display the sum of the bounding surfaces, while Inspect Measure allows individual surfaces to be selected.
