Space one component from another

Hello,

I am a complete novice with this software first off.

I am designing a custom computer case and I am having trouble getting everything lined up.

I have already created the basic shape of the panel and now have moved to creating holes for airflow and have run into the problem of not knowing the software. Done some googling and haven't been able to find the answer so.....

How would I go about spacing one component from another?

More specifically I want to space one component 64mm from the outer edge of another one.

If this isn't possible is there a way that it can be done without having to individually create each hole and space everything separately?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like an ambitious project for a novice.

Have you gone through the Tutorials?

Can you File>Export and then Attach your *.f3d file here for a look at your technique thus far?

Not been through the tutorials just normally dive right in and if I hit a roadblock google my problem and work it out.

The F3D file is attached here as well. Techniques are non existent right now as far as I can see :')

The tutorials will give you the basic concepts which seem to be lacking in your file.  If you start with a sketch, you can use dimensions and constraints to position geometry.  Once you have the geometry created and components/bodies created from that, you can use joints to position components.

Apparently that method is not an efficient method for learning anything except picking up bad habits.

I recommend that you STOP and go through the Tutorials.

You entire project will go much faster once you understand some of the basic techniques.
