Slicer - Set gap between material on stacked slices

I am trying to figure out how to put a space between the material using the stacked slices function in Slicer for fusion 360. It seems like there should be an intuitive way to enter a gap like a text box or something.  Thanks

Bump! Does anyone know how to do this? so frustrating - so many parametric models from artists and designers are constructed with space in between stacked slices that this seems like a really glaring omission - am I missing something here, or there's really no way to do this?

Can you explain in more detail what you mean exactly?
Should the parts be milled or printed?
Can you upload such a part?

Hi,

Yes, I just mean being able to set a gap between each slice, for either laser cutting or CNC routing,

to create things like this:

thanks,

There is no option to set gaps between the slices with this app. However you can get the plans as DXF or PDF and then you simply rework the 2D plan in your CAD Software by import the dxf/pdf and removing every second slice and re-arrange it. But i wouldnt use this app to be honest. Create the 3D Model first and slice it manually without Slicer App. (In case you dont knoe how to do it hit me up) Then export 3D Bodys surfaces as DXF with the App Exactflat www.exactflat.com

The way I do this is to double the actual thickness of the material I'm using.

So, if I am using 3/4" plywood and am creating an 8 foot piece of art, I tell Slicer that material is 1.5" and it gives me the correct amount of slices. You can see my projects here.

"Create the 3D Model first and slice it manually without Slicer App. (In case you dont knoe how to do it hit me up)"

New to Fusion and would appreciate a lead on how to go about doing this.  Same use case as original poster - looking to make slatted wall art where every other slat would be missing so there would be consistent spacing (in the case of 1/2" plywood denoted as X and space as O the pattern would be XOXOXOXOX etc).

Is there a way to do this without the slicer extension?  I took other responders' suggestion and doubled thickness and while that would create appropriate cut file it does not provide an accurate render which would be nice...
