Sketch offsets Toast?

It seems that if I manually draw part of an enclosed sketch shape, that I can't offset it.   It will either offset one line, or a couple of lines, but not the whole shape.  If we weren't limited to 1 selection I could at least select all the segments and do it.

Hi Jeff,

I know this can be done probably easier by just drawing a slot from scratch, but still the program should see this as a closed loop.

Basically what I did is project the outside arcs, and the four straight sectons.  Then added two lines between the projectsions.

Thanks, that is a good bug.  I was able to reproduce it easily.  Thanks for pointing it out.  We will investigate it.

I realize this is over a year old, but I'm having a similar issue. I projected the outline of a model onto a plane and cannot use Offset in the sketch on anything but one line at a time. Very irritating!

The issue that you are experiencing has to do with our projection and not offset.  This is a known issue that we are looking into a solution for.  The original issue had to with us only allow users to offset a single line or the entire loop.  You can now uncheck loop select and pick as multiple segments.
